He studied Dentistry at Universidad Mayor, where he also completed his Master's in Public Health, developing subsidized treatment programs for low-income patients.
He has worked at several hospitals in Santiago as a maxillofacial intern and taught Surgery at Universidad Mayor. He completed surgical internships at Boston Medical Center and in Michigan, USA.
Between 2013 and 2014 he specialized in Implantology and Oral Surgery in Barcelona, Spain. He combines private practice with maxillofacial emergency shifts.
