In short
A dental implant is a titanium artificial root placed in the jawbone to replace a missing tooth. A crown is then attached to it, restoring chewing, speech and appearance in a stable, long-lasting way.
We use titanium because it forms a stable biological bond with the bone, a process called osseointegration. Once integrated, the implant is restored with crowns or bridges designed for your bite.
At Elite Dental, treatment is planned by a coordinated team: oral surgery and implantology for placement, periodontics for gum and bone health, and oral rehabilitation for the final crown. Each stage is handled by the right specialist.
When is it recommended?
- One or more missing teeth
- Removable dentures that move or feel uncomfortable
- Old bridges that need replacing
- Full-mouth rehabilitation on implants
